Dr. Ekrem M. Esmer is a postdoctoral researcher in the Physics Department with a deep passion for observational astronomy and astrophysics. Holding a PhD in Astrophysics from Ankara University, Ekrem has honed his expertise through diverse international experiences, including visiting stints and coursework at the University of Coimbra, University of Innsbruck, University of Padova, and University of Belgrade.
Ekrem's research interests encompass exoplanets, binary stars, stellar astrophysics, and specifically circumbinary planets, their characterization and dynamical stabilities. He is also dedicated to scientific outreach, with extensive experience in engaging and educating the public about astronomy and astrophysics.
