Bethany L. Ehlmann, WashU alumna, Rhodes Scholar and professor of planetary science and the Allen V. C. Davis and Lenabelle Davis Leadership Chair and director of the Keck Institute for Space Studies at the California Institute of Technology, will be awarded an honorary Doctor of Science degree
Graduating senior Andre Harte will address the Class of 2024 during the Arts & Sciences Recognition Ceremony. He will be joined by alumna Bethany Ehlmann, a professor of planetary science at Caltech.
Throughout my time at WashU, the McDonnell Center for Space Sciences has not only provided me with financial support, it has also been a crucial asset to help me develop my academic career and give the opportunity to interact with students and researchers in other WU departments or from other universities, as well as to forge new research collaborations.
