Dr. Chris Cappiello is an astroparticle theorist, focusing on new ways to search for dark matter or constrain its properties. He received his PhD in 2021 from the Ohio State University, where he studied under Dr. John Beacom, Director of the Center for Cosmology and AstroParticle Physics. After obtaining his PhD, he was postdoctoral fellow at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, before returning to the US in 2024.
