Physics Theory Seminar with Anish Ghoshal on Sky Meets Laboratory via RGE: Inflation with Light Dark Higgs

Anish Ghoshal (Hosted by Dev) from University of Warsaw will be presenting the seminar "Sky Meets Laboratory via RGE: Inflation with Light Dark Higgs"

We investigate in various extensions of the Standard Model (SM), a radiative plateau Higgs inflation occurs also while dynamically generating the Electroweak and Seesaw scale. The inflationary flat potential is a result of cancellations of quantum corrections between the quartic, gauge and Yukawa couplings. We show the theoretically consistent parameter space regions in LHC and lifetime frontier searches for this particle as well as predictions in Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB). We will also discuss reheating, dark matter and leptogenesis in context to the model. Thus, we will conclude by promoting RGE as a novel connection to complement laboratory searches of BSM with cosmological observables as probes of BSM models.
