Nan Liu has been awarded the Nier Prize

Research Assistant Professor Nan Liu has received the Meteoritical Society's 2021 Nier Prize, for her contributions to the field of presolar grains and nucleosynthesis.

The Nier Prize is named after Alfred O. C. Nier. It is an early career award for a young scientist awarded annually by The Meteoritical Society and recognizes outstanding research in meteoritics and closely allied fields. Recipients must be under 35 years old at the end of the calendar year in which they are selected.
