Taste of Science with Mike Nowak and Nan Liu on The Secrets of the Universe
Mike Nowak and Nan Liu from Washington University in St. Louis will be the first speakers for an in-person event sponsored by Taste of Science
Michael Nowak and Nan Liu, two professors from the Department of Physics at Washington University, will take us outside of our planet and into outer space to explore the explosion of stars. They will explain why black holes, objects from Einstein’s theory, and stardust grains are important to understanding the balance of the universe, the existence of the solar system, and life on planet earth.
Mike Nowak will be presenting "Six Decades of Discoveries with Black Holes" and Nan Liu will be presenting "Cosmic Forensics Using Stardust Grains."
