Engineering OUTer Space
The WashU chapter of oSTEM welcomes guest speaker Troy Lee Hudson, who will give a brief lecture and take part in a Q&A session. Hudson, popularly known as Science Daddy, is an instrument system engineer in NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
"While being gay has never impacted my opportunities for employment, my ability to do my job, or my relationship with my colleagues, it is an important part of who I am. I have to actively work against its invisibility," said Hudson. Read more about Hudson's science journey on his NASA profile.
