Astrophysics Seminar with Ramakrishnan Venkatessh on Supermassive Black Hole Images

The transcendence of the EHT with the addition of more telescopes and the passive phasing of ALMA brings the nearby AGNs in the spotlight. Although technically challenging to resolve the photon rings of these targets in the immediate future, one could resolve the accretion flow or map the base of the relativistic jets using the ngEHT. Thus, we construct a multiwavelength roadmap to congregate the vital physical parameters required to robustly model the high-angular resolution maps of these targets when available. I will present this project's timeline and its implications for near future EHT observations.
